when I went on holiday to australia just over 3 years ago, the prospect of sending home postcards was not one which we wrelished. so, we visited an internet cafe. the thing which was somewhat unfortunate was the fact that, of course, there is no speech access in most internet cafes, so I had to rely on my husband who was with me then to read the screen for me. so just as a matter of interest, have any of you ever encountered an internet cafe with access for visually impaired users? as I am told that such places do exist.
If there are any such places, I haven't found one yet, but I guess you kinda have to look around, not saying they don't exist, it's just a matter of where can they be found.
